The Windsor Shaving Bowl is a gentle shaving soap and has been scented with Windsor, a fresh, complex fragrance that starts with overtones of citrus and grapefruit and matures to tones of black pepper and vetiver. Each soap is incredibly rich and lasts for several months.

The wooden bowls are treated to last for many years and take on a character of their own. Refill soaps are available from us.

Moisten beard with warm water, apply soap with a wet shaving brush, lather either in a bowl or directly on face and apply to beard.

The success story of DR Harris began around 1790 in London's St. James Street, when Harris' Pharmacy was founded by the owners Henry Harris, a surgeon, and Daniel Rotely, a former pharmaceutical chemist.

His initials are now found in the name DR Harris.

Over the next fifty years, the family business has made a name for itself in London's neighborhoods by selling Classic Cologne, Lavender Water, and English Flower fragrances.

In 1938, DR Harris was appointed Warrant Officer to His Royal Highness and later to the Prince of Wales.

In 2012, the Queen awarded the Royal Warrant.

Today, the traditional pharmacy shop on St. James Street, with much of its original furniture, continues to offer excellent service.

Sustainability is also a concern for DR Harris. The company aims to be as climate-neutral as possible and is working hard to achieve this goal, for example, through sustainable packaging.

DR Harris has been committed to climate protection by planting trees for every purchase made since 2018 and sourcing most of its raw materials from the UK. The packaging is fully recyclable and partially reusable.
