Exceptional British perfumery, animated by curiosity and inspired by the vastness of the sea.

The musician and writer Crabtree grew up in an artistic family of psychologists and sailors. As a child, he spent a lot of time on a boat on the Thames. According to Crabtree, he was born into the sea and the traditions associated with it, but also a penchant for superstition. However, he also found inspiration for the passionate creation of his great love - fragrances - in the dark chapters of old England. So it is hardly surprising that BeauFort Londons is decidedly British.

The name "BeauFort London" is derived from the scale used to classify wind force. It is a synonym for a framework for communication. "The wind is something constant, permanent, but also changeable and potentially destructive," is how Crabtree describes his vision.

Fittingly, the fragrance creation trilogy "Come Hell or High Water" was strongly inspired by British maritime history. It is characterized by boldness, sometimes plays with contradictions, but is always driven by an inner curiosity and the desire to expand one's own horizon of experience.

Crabtree collaborated with the most renowned British perfumers. The results are fragrances that knock at the window of the collective unconscious:

they recall precious moments of the past and shed light on fragments of shared history, fleetingly brought to life and carried on the wind.

Come Hell or High Water

On September 1, 2015, the 'Come Hell or High Water' fragrance collection was proudly unveiled. This is the first chapter of this little story, which gets off to a stormy start and thus attracts attention. The fragrances appear bold, sometimes somewhat contradictory, but are characterized by a clear line. The excerpts presented resemble

footnotes to these stories concerning the sense of smell, no matter where they unfold.
