Orkney, a group of islands north of Scotland, is the source of inspiration for this fragrance. According to an ancient Orkney myth, shape-shifters - selkies - inhabit the bodies of seals and shed their skin when they come out of the water to live among humans. In these stories, the selkies' skin is often found and hidden by local men, forcing them to marry their human captor.

In our interpretation of this story, however, the selkie gains the upper hand ... Horrified that he has tanned her precious skin, the selkie poisons her captor, reclaims the leather and finally returns to the raging sea.

Sirenide Eau de Parfum is therefore a suitably impressive fragrance: powerful and haunting, with three aspects of "skins" that unfold on your skin. PVC melds with pinseal and an unsettling note of bitter almond ... Water flowers bloom and die to return to the water.

Musician and writer Crabtree grew up in a family of artists, psychologists and sailors. As a child, he spent a lot of time on a boat on the Thames. According to Crabtree, the sea and its associated traditions, as well as a penchant for superstition, were instilled in him. But he also found inspiration for the passionate creation of his great love - fragrances - in the dark chapters of old England. So it's little surprise that BeauFort London's turned out distinctly British.
The name "BeauFort London" can be derived from the scale used to classify wind speeds. It is synonymous with a framework of communication. "The wind is something constant, permanent, but also changeable and potentially destructive." is how Crabtree describes his vision.

Fittingly, fragrance creation trilogy "Come Hell or High Water" was strongly inspired by the British history of sailors. It is characterized by boldness, sometimes plays with contradictions, but is always driven by an inner curiosity and the desire to expand its own horizons of experience.

Crabtree collaborated with the most renowned British perfumers in the process. The results are fragrances that throb at the window of the collective unconscious:
they recall precious moments of the past and shed light on fragments of shared history, fleetingly brought to life and carried on the wind.

Come Hell or High Water
On September 1, 2015, the presentation of the fragrance collection 'Come Hell or High Water' was proudly unveiled. This is the first chapter of this little story, with a stormy opening to attract attention. The fragrances seem bold, sometimes somewhat contradictory, but are characterized by a clear line. The presented excerpts resemble
footnotes to these stories concerning the sense of smell, no matter where they unfold.
They exude fascination, but also play with curiosities and the bizarre.
They serve as inspiring snippets of information and as the basis for the stories expressed through the scents.
