To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film series, the Floris perfumery team has created the exclusive No. 007. The fragrance is inspired by the effortless style and substance of the James Bond films that have entertained audiences for generations.

No. 007 Eau de Parfum is a rich and spicy fragrance with amber in the base. This captivating fragrance is a blend of refreshing citrus and juniper notes that meet a subtly smoky accord with hints of spicy dianthus clove, and an aromatic heart note consisting of a fusion of rose, lavender, rosemary and geranium, underscored by the soothing warmth of sandalwood, oakmoss and musk.

Juan Famenias Floris kam 1730 von seiner Heimatinsel Menorca über Montepellier in Frankreich, wo er gelernt hatte, Duftessenzen zu mischen, nach England und ließ sich in der Jermyn Street, nahe dem Royal Court von St. James und im Herzen von Gentleman’s „Club-Land“ als „Barber“ und „Comb-Maker“ nieder, wo er mit seinen Produkten bald zum Gesprächsthema der Londoner Gesellschaft wurde und reüssierte. Für seine Kunden kreierte er individuelle Düfte, deren Rezepte er sorgfältig aufbewahrte, um sie bei Bedarf wieder nachliefern zu können. Er heiratete Elizabeth Hodgkiss, mit der er sieben Kinder hatte.

Die heutige Firma wird in der achten Generation geleitet von John Bodenham und Christopher Marsh, die beide Ur-Urenkel sind von Mary Anne Floris, ihrerseits eine Urenkelin von Juan, dem Gründer. Mary Anne Floris hatte James Bodenham geheiratet, daher der Wechsel des Familiennamens. Über sechzehn Mal wurde die Firma als Hoflieferant ausgezeichnet, jetzt ist sie „Perfumers to HM The Queen Elizabeth II“ und „Manufacturers of Toilet Preparations to HRH The Prince of Wales“.
