Firewater by Jorum Studio is part of the "Scottish Odyssey Fragrance Collection"

"Scottish Odyssey" is an exploration of the folklore and mysteries rooted in our past and present. A contemporary fantasy built around the everyday; transcending geography in attitude, humor and culture. Grounded and earthly, joyful and irreverent.

So the scent was inspired by the Corryvreckan Whirlpool - the third largest ocean whirlpool. "Let's dance around a smoky bonfire on the beach, skin anointed with sticky lemon sage". Scents of black tea, juniper berry, nettle, grapefruit, beardtongue, osmanthus, ginger, bracken & larch then open up to reveal birchwood, sugar kelp, guaiac wood, vetiver, oakwood, benzoin, labdanum absolute & a peat accord on the finish.

Jorum was founded in 2010 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall under the pseudonym Jorum Laboratories and has formulated fragrances for cult brands.

Since 2016, Jorum has been run equally by Euan and his partner Chloe Mullen and launched Jorum Studio in 2019.

From their base in Edinburgh, Chloe and Euan have quietly built a new world-class perfume industry in Scotland.

The focus on handcrafted yet innovative fragrances is at the heart of Jorum Studio. Jorum Studio pursues an artisanal approach to both formulation design and manufacturing processes.
