The Edwin Jagger Imitation Ebony Best Badger Shaving Brush with Stand is a wonderful addition to any shaving arsenal, giving you a luxurious, high quality lather every time you shave.
This brush is handmade in the Edwin Jagger factory in Sheffield, using imitation ebony polyester and Best Badger fibers. This quality of badger hair is finer and smoother than "pure badger hair" and it is longer and less dark. The fibers are densely packed, which means that the brush retains a good amount of water, resulting in a moist and rich lather, which in turn means better emollient properties and a smoother lather on the face. All in all, a high quality brush results in a comfortable shave with fewer cuts and irritation.
Included is a stand that allows you to easily hang the brush after use and dry it thoroughly - proper care of the brush is essential to maintaining its quality and usability. Always remove any residue from the brush thoroughly with warm water and then hang it up to dry. We advise against using shaving oils with this brush as this can cause the fibers to break. Some shedding is normal with a brand new brush, but once it has settled in, this brush should last for many years.
