Askr by Jorum Studio captures the essence of a primeval land emerging from the deepest waters of the earth. The fragrance begins with strong, mineral notes of ash and salt, complemented by floral accents of chamomile and angelica and a spicy freshness of elemi and Szechuan pepper. Galbanum adds a green, resinous component.

Over time, woody notes of elm and calamus unfold, accompanied by Atlas cedarwood, powdery orris root and sweet, smoky copal resin. Sea moss and ambergris bring a fresh, ozonic depth, while papyrus, vetiver and woodruff add earthy and herbaceous nuances.

Founded in 2010 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall under the pseudonym Jorum Laboratories, Jorum has formulated fragrances for iconic brands.

Since 2016, Jorum has been run equally by Euan and his partner Chloe Mullen and launched Jorum Studio in 2019.

Chloe and Euan have quietly built a new world-class perfume industry in Scotland from their base in Edinburgh.
