Geo F. Trumper opened his exclusive barber's shop on Curzon Street in 1875, which still exists today. With his colognes and exclusive preparations, Trumper quickly gained a reputation, received the title of "Court Hairdresser" and was appointed Warrant Holder to Queen Victoria, an honor the shop continued to enjoy in subsequent reigns. Trumper's daughter continued to run the business, but, since she had no heirs, she entrusted it to Mr. Ivan Bersch, who continued the tradition and expanded the range with new products. Since Bersch's death, the company has been managed by his daughter.
Trumper's hallmark is the decorative crown bottle, whose design dates back to the last century and has been imitated many times. At the heart of the Trumper offering is the so-called "Trumper Collection," featuring the six fragrances Astor, Curzon, Marlborough, Silvester, Wellington, and Wild Fern, almost all created around the turn of the century. For a few years now, some fragrances from this collection have also been available in a 30ml sample size.
Trumper offers a total of 19 different (men's) fragrances. Some fragrances are also available in so-called "travel packs," which are simply unbreakable plastic bottles.
