Dissatisfied with the superficial and ordinary offerings of English barbershops, founder Brendan Murdock decided to take the problem into his own hands. Inspired by the barbershops of St. James, Murdock wanted to create a grooming experience that met the demands of the modern, style-conscious man. The first Murdock London Barbershop opened in 2006 in the iconic London district of Shoreditch and welcomes thousands of customers to this day.
