This classic woody fragrance with spicy oriental notes was named to commemorate a long line of HMS Grafton battleships of the British Royal Navy. Truefitt & Hill's newly blended fragrance was named "Grafton" in 1983 at the suggestion of an officer from HMS Grafton who particularly liked this distinctively masculine aroma and suggested naming the new fragrance after the graceful line of HMS Grafton battleships.
