The Highland Soap Company is a family-run manufacturer of soap and skin care products from Scotland. All products are handmade at the foot of Great Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Production follows a centuries-old process, which takes approximately four weeks to complete the soap for the customer. The cold-process soaps are particularly suitable for people with dry and sensitive skin. The soaps are characterized by their mild and moisturizing properties. All products are vegetarian, and many are even vegan. None of the products contain artificial synthetic surfactants. The Highland Soap Company avoids them because they dry out the skin and cause lasting damage to aquatic life.
