In 1805, Nelson won the Battle of Trafalgar and King George III sat on England's throne. In the same year, the history of Truefitt & Hill also began in fashionable Mayfair. Truefitt created a completely new level of service for the discerning clientele, setting new standards worldwide. In 1935, Truefitt took over the hairdressing business from Edwin S. Hill & Co. Thus Truefitt & Hill was born.
